Don’t Go Overboard
You may be passionate about pigs, or delirious about rubber ducks, but remember, there’s a thin line between a quirky collection and tacky turmoil. Limit the infiltration of your passion to one room, or like one of the entrants in the Apartments.com Possession Obsession Contest, pick a different theme for each room in your apartment. Remember, no matter how much you love something; you still need to eat and use the bathroom.
When it comes down to it, your collection is a reflection of your personality. There’s really no right and no wrong to collecting, and there’s really no right or wrong way to displaying your collection. Just keep in mind, that if your collection becomes so overwhelming that you have trouble walking in your apartment, you might have just crossed the border into “Possession Obsession”!
