The way I had handled this situation was to take pictures ofall disposed items. Call your local Goodwill and have them to pick up the things and give you an itemized list. This way you will be free and clear.

You are required by law to have Handicap parking. You are also required by law to have the ramp and the blue lines and sign. If you don't, if you resident is smart he could call Fair Housing on you. That could possibly open up a whole new can of worms. You could also have him park in the vistor spot temporarly until you can better accomodate him.

The only way for you to find an apartment is to go to an apartment community that does not run a credit or a background report.
The only other option is to go to the complex or the attorney the filed the eviction and pay the owed amount off, that way you will be reinstated or at least you should.

If I am reading your question right, you could have a real estate agency to rent your apartments, or you could put your apartments under a reputable management agency. Thus i think you may have to enter some sort of contract.
I do have one other option, you could indepencently obtain a person that has several years experience to run the apartments for you - given you have a budget for expenses.

Hello there! Well first you need to get the most exposure for your rental as possible, try listing your apartment for rent online at apartments.com or other online resources. In this market you need to really give potential renters a reason to rent from you - some ideas:
-offer a free month of rent
-offer to pay for a controlled cost utility
-throw something in for free (a grill or tv)

Best of luck!

I have a problem tenant who is very abusive. Foul language, threatening, aggressive behavior. With a month to month lease, may I simply choose to end the lease with a 60 day notice? As opposed to the eviction process? Also, I need to increase the rents. They have not been increased for years & I took a loss last year. Must I increase everyone's rent? There are 2 elderly tenants on fixed incomes whom i do not wish to increase. Is this legal?
