I was at the rental house for an inspection and I saw a cat on the windowsill . Our lease clearly states no cats. Under CA law what can I do?

The way I had handled this situation was to take pictures ofall disposed items. Call your local Goodwill and have them to pick up the things and give you an itemized list. This way you will be free and clear.

You are required by law to have Handicap parking. You are also required by law to have the ramp and the blue lines and sign. If you don't, if you resident is smart he could call Fair Housing on you. That could possibly open up a whole new can of worms. You could also have him park in the vistor spot temporarly until you can better accomodate him.

The only way for you to find an apartment is to go to an apartment community that does not run a credit or a background report.
The only other option is to go to the complex or the attorney the filed the eviction and pay the owed amount off, that way you will be reinstated or at least you should.

I have a problem tenant who is very abusive. Foul language, threatening, aggressive behavior. With a month to month lease, may I simply choose to end the lease with a 60 day notice? As opposed to the eviction process? Also, I need to increase the rents. They have not been increased for years & I took a loss last year. Must I increase everyone's rent? There are 2 elderly tenants on fixed incomes whom i do not wish to increase. Is this legal?

If a tenant has abandoned a property 10 month prior to end of this lease. How can I make sure this will show up on her credit check, for future landlords checking this tenant, without having to sue her. I don't want to spend the money $300, in a small claims court to request for rent unpaid that I will never get. Just want to make sure this person has a "bloch" on her credit check. Broward County, Deerfield Beach Florida..oh yeah, and if anybody needs a nice studio, private property, duplex for rent, I have one, "just vacated" due to this terrible tenant Look for my Add at Apartments.com it will be posted today.

Evict the tenant who complains the most about all of the problems and refuses to continue to pay you rent.Make sure the complainer never rent from another.Continue to keep the crack heads who make the place a living hell, they make you money by putting out all the good tenants. My life is in danger and I got to move.I refuse to pay another dollar in this place.Been to court, only to lose.Pay or get out,not concerned about anything else. They should pay me to live here.
