The daty before moving I did this at her request, The following day she wanted out of the lease. I gave all the furniture away to a needy family. We ended up calling the police on him and they had words with him and he gave them attitude as well showing the policemen his true colors. We now feel very unsafe in our apartment and would like to know if we have any rights to move out, receive our full security deposit, and not have any responsibility for the rest of the year's rent. We moved in on April 15th, 2008 and it is now July 17th, 2008.
