Any ideas for some simple ways to increase curb appeal?

    I own a three flat and the units are great inside, but the outside of the building doesn’t look that great. I think prospective renters are passing my rental unit by. Any ideas for some simple ways to increase curb appeal?

    Yes, the outside of your apartment building or home is just as important (or in some cases more important) as the inside in making a first impression on a potential tenant.
    • For starters, cut the lawn, pull any weeds, trim any bushes or shrubs and pick up any clutter in site.
    • Remove any old newspapers, mail or trash from the entryway (outside and inside)
    • Place some seasonal potted plants or flowers near the entrance of your building or home
    • Clean your windows or add new window treatments
    • Apply a fresh coat of paint
