I am a tenant @NYCHA this year I have had some financial problems, I have been consistently late in paying my rent this year. Every time I was going to pay me rent late I contacted my NYCHA housing assistant & let her know my intentions. I received a letter from the upper management office threatening me with lease termination if my rent wasn't paid by a certain date, I don't get paid until the day after the date they gave to pay this one month rent in arrears what can I do?
