My fiance and I feel unsafe in our apartment due to an incident that happened recently with our landlord through no fault of our own. We ended up calling the police on him and they had words with him and he gave them attitude as well showing the policemen his true colors. We now feel very unsafe in our apartment and would like to know if we have any rights to move out, receive our full security deposit, and not have any responsibility for the rest of the year's rent. We moved in on April 15th, 2008 and it is now July 17th, 2008. We pay entirely too much money to be treated the way we were treated and now we feel extremely unsafe.

i would contact a lawyer and your local small claims court make sure you receive a copy of the police report
